Delete Your PinMyDates Account

You can delete your PinMyDates account and its associated reminders, linked profiles and uploaded documents at any time.

Before you delete

• You will lose access to saved reminders, countdowns, notification settings, renewal history, attachments and profiles.
• All pending notifications for your account stop immediately — no further reminder emails are sent.
• Consider exporting your data first: Settings → Privacy & Data → Download my data, or Import & Export → Excel export.

Preferred method: self-service deletion

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account.
3. Review the summary of what will be removed.
4. Confirm your identity — if you signed in more than 15 minutes ago, you'll be asked to sign in with Google again.
5. Type DELETE and your account email, then confirm. You'll see a completion message once the deletion has finished.

What is deleted and when?

• Immediately: your account, sign-in sessions, reminders, people & assets, notifications, renewal history, Excel import history, custom categories and activity history are removed from the active database.
• Immediately: your uploaded documents are unlinked from your account and can no longer be opened or downloaded by anyone through PinMyDates.
• Later: physical removal of file contents from storage and from routine backups follows our hosting provider's retention cycles. These timelines will be published here before public launch.
• Retained: messages you sent through the Get in Touch form, and a minimal record that a deletion took place (no reminder content).

Alternative: email deletion request

Email pinmydates@gmail.com with the subject Account Deletion Request from the email address linked to your account. Do not include passwords, ID photos or other sensitive documents. We may ask you to verify ownership.
