1. About this policy

PinMyDates helps you keep track of important dates and associated documents. This policy describes the information the service collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information you provide

• Account information: your name, email address and profile picture, received from Google when you choose “Continue with Google”. PinMyDates does not store passwords.
• Reminder information: titles, categories, dates, recurrence, notes, tags, costs, owners or assets and notification preferences.
• Documents or photos you voluntarily upload (PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP), which may contain sensitive personal details.
• Support requests you send through the Get in Touch form or by email.
• Optional family, staff, vehicle, property or organization profiles you choose to create.

Do not upload someone else's information unless you have the right to do so.

3. Information generated when you use the service

We record sign-in sessions, timestamps and an activity history (for example “reminder created” or “document accessed”) visible to you under Settings. The contact form records the sender's IP address to limit spam. PinMyDates does not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

4. Purposes of processing

Information is used to provide account access; store and display your reminders and files; calculate countdowns; create in-app notifications; send reminder emails only when you enable them; prevent abuse; resolve support requests; and keep the service reliable.

5. Uploads and document security

Files are kept in private storage and are never available through public links. Every preview or download is checked against your signed-in account, and connections use HTTPS. Exports never include file contents. Please avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.

6. Sharing and service providers

The service uses providers for hosting, database, private file storage, Google sign-in and transactional email delivery. Reminder content and attachments are not shared with other users. A full list of providers and their locations will be published before launch.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

An essential, secure cookie keeps you signed in. No non-essential cookies are used today.

8. Notifications

You control reminder dates, alert offsets and channels. In-app notifications are on by default; email reminders are off until you switch them on. Emails may contain reminder titles and dates.

9. Retention and deletion

Information is kept while your account is active unless you delete it sooner. When you delete your account, your reminders, profiles, notifications, renewal history, import history and activity history are removed from the active database, and your documents are unlinked and made inaccessible immediately. Physical removal of file contents from storage and removal from routine backups follow the hosting provider's retention cycles, which will be stated here before launch. Support tickets are kept so we can answer you.

10. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export (Settings → Privacy & Data) and delete your information. Additional rights may apply under privacy laws where you live. For any request contact pinmydates@gmail.com. We may need to verify that you own the account.

11. Children's information

The service is not intended for children to create their own accounts. Adults tracking a dependent's dates should only enter information they are authorized to manage.

12. International use

Users may access the service from multiple countries. The operator's legal identity and cross-border safeguards will be published before public release.
